Remember the Ladies: Women of the Hudson River School.
This is the official brochure for the first known exhibition to introduce art lovers and historians to the women artists who also participated in the
nineteenth-century Hudson River School movement, but who have been largely ignored. This brochure includes several very informative essays and many
examples of paintings by women Hudson River School artists. The exhibition was held May 2010 at the Thomas Cole National Historic Site, Catskill,
New York.
Alternate introduction: Women Artists of the Hudson River School
--includes interesting information about the biographies and circumstances of a number of the women artists.
